For many years my artwork was exclusively licensed for embroidery digitizing so most of my artwork is not available for that purpose commercially. However, I do still have many images that are available for nonexclusive licenses including embroidery digitizing. Each listing will have one of the below comments:
1. Licenses: Exclusively licensed for embroidery digitizing, all other non-exclusive licenses are available
2. Licenses: All non-exclusive licenses are available
For clarity, I would like to state that all of my artwork is available for commercial licensing. The only potential restrictions are for embroidery digitizing and each listing will address this question with one of the above comments.
The easiest way to find images that have no restrictions on licenses at all is to use the following search term I've created, it is as follows:
1. anexa - which stands for "All Nonexclusive Licenses are Available". This term will be used for all images that are available for all types of licenses including embroidery digitizing. In essence, if you are wanting a license for embroidery digitizing this will be what you would want to search for. All licenses are available, from embroidery digitizing to paper products, etc.
With the exception of the exclusively licensed artwork for embroidery digitizing all other license categories are still available on a nonexclusive basis. If you are still a bit unclear on this please contact me and I'll try to help clear this up for you.
Why I Have Chosen this Type of License
Over the years of working in the art field I've dealt with quite a few different types of licensing concepts, formats, ideas, contracts, etc. There are strengths and weaknesses to most of them so I have tried to come up with a system that is more fair to both parties. I feel that it is important for everyone to benefit from a licensing agreement. As a result I have totally changed the way I do licensing and if I find in the future that it isn't working as planned I will change it, but for now I think it has merit and is definitely worth trying.
Basics of What Licensing My Artwork Includes
- All licenses are on a nonexclusive basis
- Purchase the artwork through my site that you want to license
- No large up front payment for a license only a $5.00 initial processing fee
- 10% of the retail sales that use my artwork paid to me on a monthly basis
How to License My Artwork
This is a work in progress so there could and probably will be updates and changes along the way to improve the license. I value feedback so your input really does matter, if there is something you feel should be added or modified please email me.
I am in the process of potentially creating a way for you to purchase a license through the site and will update my site as soon as it is finished if it is possible.
